Country Codes

Used in: Waterfall ICP (cascade[].location.country_code), Employee Finder (country_code field), Find People and TAM By People (people.location.country_code and company.hq.country_code), Company Search (company.hq.country_code field). Country codes follow the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 standard. Letter case does not matter. Only the length of a code is checked, not whether the country exists:
  • Exactly 2 letters on Search Jobs, Search Company Jobs and TAM By Jobs (job.location.country_code, plus company.hq.country_code on Search Jobs and TAM By Jobs): USA returns a 422.
  • 2 to 3 characters for people.location.country_code (Find People, TAM By People), cascade[].location.country_code (Waterfall ICP) and company.hq.country_code (Company Search): United Kingdom returns a 422, USA returns 0 results.
  • No maximum for company.hq.country_code on Find People and TAM By People, and for country_code on Employee Finder: a wrong code returns 0 results.
For Waterfall ICP Search, leave a tier’s location out to search the whole world. Each list in a tier’s location (city.include, city.exclude, country_code, continent, sales_region) takes at most 10 values. For Employee Finder, use ["WORLD"] as country_code default or simply omit the field. For Company Search and Find People omit the location/hq fields entirely or pass empty arrays. "WORLD" as a country_code value works only on Employee Finder: as a value in any other country_code list it returns a 422, or 0 results on company.hq.country_code of Find People and TAM By People.
